It wouldn't surprise me. What strikes me about this particular translation is the sheer no. of terms that no one seems to be able to agree on in the advertising/e-commerce world. They haven't been around long enough for one particular version to take precedence. I was really hoping this wasn't going to be another case of coining my own phrase! :-)

I think what makes this "parcours" unique is that it's a way to track what browsers were exposed to from various channels, not necessarily one particular visit... like seeing a google banner when searching on google, then seeing another banner on a partner site, then seeing another banner on TF1s website... they want to figure out what led that browser to conversion, which channels are the most effective in getting conversions. That's my take on it. I'm still thinking about an answer and will post back later if I find something that qualifies exposure

your ref also supports the use of "exposure" as a term, but only on its own. It needs some sort of qualifier. I'm looking for a term that means "the total ads/messages that the consumer has been exposed to during this visit".

...for understanding that this has nothing to do with exhibitions. I originally posted the question with "in this context" in brackets after the phrase, in the hope of avoiding such confusion.
Essentially I would agree with the tracking idea, except that "le tracking" is referred to separately in this. What I want to say is along the lines of "exposure path" (ie similar to clickpath, but more specific), but this term does not appear to exist. :-(
