Hi everyone!

I'm having trouble translating the above terms, in the context of a partnership between a private equity company and a film production company, and I'm totally stuck with the legal jargon... could "Capital Raising" work?

In this partnership context, I suspect you might be in a situation of something like "the partners decided that under condition X they will seek to raise additional capital".

Definitely but in the financail jargon,"funds" is more commonly used.

neutral  Nikki Scott-Despaigne: Sorry, but I agree with the collegaues here. In the world of finance, companies can "raise capital/funds". "Fund raising" (always singular) is what is done in order to help a charity for example.
