I'm not sure of the best way of translating 'en pointant' in the following context:

Depuis dix ans, l’Europe dépense des centaines de millions d’euros dans un plan censé mettre fin à l’exploitation illégale des forêts tropicales. Avec un résultat nul : les coupes illégales continuent plus que jamais. Mais l’argent européen irrigue… cabinets d’étude et ONG.
Personne ne dira le contraire : les forêts tropicales sont victimes d’une exploitation illégale de grande ampleur. Et le bois illégal continue à arriver impunément en Europe, comme l’a encore montré Greenpeace ces jours-ci***en pointant*** un cargo chargé de bois tropical à La Rochelle.

Perhaps 'exposing' might be a possibility?

neutral  B D Finch: "Comme l’a encore montré" refers back to "le bois illégal continue à arriver impunément en Europe" - so not a pleonasm. Though they did indeed organise protest action, as shown if you follow the ST hyperlink, that is not what is written here.
