French to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s)
French term or phrase: Document de résiliation
Hello!

I know this normally refers to the termination of a contract, but in this context I have some serious doubt. It is just a title (we're talking about a contract awarded within the framework of an international tender):

"Objet du document de résiliation: LA REALISATION DE SHELTERS POUR XXX"

It seems like they're saying that the object of the contract is the development of shelters, this is why I think the term 'termination' does not quite fit.

Any suggestion?

agree  Eliza Hall: This is probably correct, pending further info from the asker. The "Realisation de shelters..." is probably the title of the contract being terminated (i.e. the "objet" of the résiliation).

neutral  Daryo: certainly not impossible, but not very likely if "real-life samples" are anything to go by ...

disagree  SafeTex: Hello François: Everything in discussion now points to a typo. Eliza is WRONG to agree and its very surprising that a lawyer should make such a STUPID mistake.
