Hello, in a certificate of service of process form by a Hussier de Justice of Paris,
there is a list of fees.
There is this fee:

"D.'E.P.

FRAIS DE DEPLACEMENT"

Does anyone happen to know what "D.'E.P." is?

Thank you so much Susanna! Your answer helped me alot to understand it, I didn't know what the acronym was for. In the context of the document, I ended up putting "court costs" instead of "court fees", because there was different item that was called "court fees". I think it is probably that the court fees are for the document filing fees (fixed amount you pay when you submit the document), which is separate from DEP/DDE which is for costs incurred by the court. Thank you to everyone that agreed and posted references!

neutral  writeaway: de/des, poursuite/poursuites huge difference indeed. Fr seems to be inconsistent/don't understand how this is an improvement on my reference, The Huissiers' site give something else again. It won't change the translation

  -> Don't understand. Just quoting the article referred to in the question in order to get the exact term. No inconsistency where the law is concerned. How people use the term is an entirely different matter, which is why going back to the source matters.
