French term or phrase: Régimes
Hello

As this is a research area, there is no other info except that the acronym of the organisation is called DOGMA and studies doctrinal thought in legal systems, politics, and the media.

I'm stumped on "régimes"

I saw that it could mean "statutes", but I also wondered if it meant "regimes" as some media has been used almost like a regime (Silvio Berlusconi in Italy for example)

Finally, I wondered if it could mean "empire" as in "media empire".

I keep swinging from one to the other. I need help

Thanks

regimes

Explanation:

agree  Nikki Scott-Despaigne: I think that without further context, particularly without the benefit of the content that follows, it is difficult (even dangerous) to read more into this. If there is some political overtone to the article, then "régime" is probably spot-on.
