French term or phrase: Hamac postéro-supérieur
Hi,

The first example of this expression is in quotation marks in the French original

"l’effet “hamac postéro-supérieur actif” du tendon du muscle piriforme avec l’effet “hamac postéro-supérieur passif” de la suture capsulaire"

I found a translation that used "hammock" but the translation was very poor. Is it correct or would "sling" be better?

Thanks

with the hip externally rotated and abducted (as in the leg cradle) will actually do more to stretch the posterior lateral hip capsule than the piriformis muscle.
