Medical - Medical: Health Care / cerebral aneurysm – flow diverter simulation
French term or phrase: superposer... avec
Pour cela, on a superposé la simulation FDsize avec l'imagerie du contrôle final Xper CT de chaque prothèse et on itère sur le positionnement du point distal comme montré dans la xxx et xxx

Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out whether it's definitely the final XperCT control images that are being laid over the simulation of the flow diverter, or the other way around. The client has unhelpfully not given me access to the pictures obscured by the xxx !

By way of context, I also have the following sentence a short while later:

Afin de calibrer ce paramètre, on a procédé par itération jusqu'au moment ou la proximalité du FD simulé est superposable à la proximalité de l'XperCT.

Again I'm not sure exactly...

Thanks in advance for any help/clarification !

BTW

it is the FD size simulation that is being overlaid on the XperCT images

overlaying ... and ...

Explanation:
I am not sure if there is a way to reliably find out how the overlay procedure is done - i.e., which element is "on top of" the other – as it is presumably done in a computer programme which mathematically rather than physically/geometrically overlays both images.
It also does not seem to be important to define a "top" and "bottom" layer as long as both can be viewed simultaneously.

I would therefore suggest to go with a "neutral" expression, overlaying the simulation and the CT scan.

Asker: I was wondering about that, especially given the link Liz sent above, which seems to show more of a comparison than an overlay. Thanks for the help !

Meaning the two images are exactly the same size.
