French term or phrase: séquences RO TE21
There is a big chance this is an English acronym, as it is used elsewhere in the MRI report in screenshots taken from English-language software. Nevertheless, I can't find it in either language.

Protocole d'acquisition IRM: 2 séquences RO TE21: carotides communes et bifurcation.

(TE is echo time; its the RO I cannot find).

RO readout
Explanation:
This really is just an "educated" guess, and I think you should check with the client or put in a note. However, it has the advantage of existing as a term in the context of MRI technology, whereas "résolution optimisée" does not seem to.

I think this is a good guess; looking at the various occurrences it would make sense in each of them; I certainly find it very hard to believe its a French acronym and not an English one, so leaving it as is will not do any harm.

neutral  SJLD: what is RO then? - maybe, never seen it before - but why would it be gradient echo if GE is not mentioned?

readout sequences and TE=21 ms

Explanation:
Since you've got the TE part, I am proposing that RO is "readout"

Kind of melodramatic but see the example sentence from the book "MRI: a conceptual overview" (Rajan, 1998)

Example sentence(s):
  • The fourth row in the pulse sequence table corresponds to the readout (RO) gradient channel.
