French term or phrase: filoches
The following is from a paper manufacturing company newsletter discussing the company's performance throughout the year and the factors that have affected it:

"Notre mauvaise performance machine, impactée par la crise des **filoches** sur (machine) avec plus de 800 To concernées (cassés ou à risque)."

I can find no references to 'filoches' in this context anywhere and cannot get hold of the client to clarify. I have absolutely no idea what this term refers to.

Can anyone shed any light please?

Explanation:
When you dry the papers paste (or sludge) there are some agglomerates some are of round shape (boulettes = pellets) other more like strings (filoches = rags)

With "rag + sludge" in Google
