French term or phrase: tracé de découpe

Deadline fast approaching and I've drawn a blank. Is this anything to do with die-cutting? If so, there's no equivalent term in English to match the huge no. of ghits that this term gets in French.

I understand it to be the label outline (ie where it is cut).

It's mentioned as being shown on a technical data sheet for a label that has one of those peely off stickers (booklet stickers). This data sheet just has a diagram of the shape of the label sheet, which is basically a rectangle with an opening tab in the bottom RH corner.

Any speedy help much appreciated!!

Explanation:
I'm not 100% sure about this - despite marketing die-cut labels for several years ! but it will certainly be understood by an English-speaking professional.
The link leads to an illustration of a "tracé de découpe" (die outline).
Meanwhile I will check with some real professionals :)

Well I USED to be in the know .... but I'm fairly confident that my suggestion will be understood and accepted by printing professionals.
I am trying to contact some old buddies in the sector to confirm it, but don't hold your breath ...
