This is obviously an abbreviation but presumably standard in the business so before going back to the client perhaps someone else has come across it. This is in a document which spells out exactly how each shop has to organise its displays:

Ma préco est sur 9 crémaillères mais je n’ai qu’un mural de 7.

I have a visual which clearly shows the 9 rows on the wall rack, so I'm assuming that préco refers to the standard wall display unit. But what is the correct term in UK English?

Explanation:
"La préco constructeur" for a car is "la préconisation constructeur": the manufacturer's recommendation (or recommended something: some as number of kilometres per oil change, for example). Do you think this might fit? I'm imagining that "ma préco" here might mean what I have been recommended or instructed to do/have.

Abbreviations for "recommendation": both "reco" and "rec" can be found in lists, but I'm not convinced they would be properly understood in your context.
