Training manual for patternmaking software. This appears to be a general term for a collar with a bottom edge that is not sewn or buttoned down because they are talking about showing a shadow underneath the bottom edge of the collar. At first I thought it was "detached collar" but in English, that is a collar that is not connected to a garment. This collar is connected to the top of the garment at the top edge, but the bottom is loose. Is there a specific term for that in English? I don't think the shape matters (ie Peter Pan, pointed, etc).

Asker: Thanks for your suggestion, but it seems like a notched collar is more for lapels or jackets. The picture in the original was more like a Peter Pan collar only pointed.
