Die englische Übersetzung lautet "differential action" und hilft mir leider auch nicht weiter.

Es ist nicht unbedingt erforderlich, hier die Nominalform von "Aktion" beizubehalten, man kann also variieren: mit hohem Differenzwert betätigen, z.B.
Die deutschen Techniker lieben auch das "Delta" :-)
Es dürfte um Differenzen zwischen links und rechts gehen, aber da renne ich sicher offene Türen ein!
