Il existe en effet une relation négative entre taux d’intérêt et investissements, à savoir que plus les taux sont élevés, moins les **agents économiques** sont enclins à entreprendre d’autre projets, car le rendement disponible sur les titres dits « sans risque » (les obligations gouvernementales à court terme) est suffisamment attractif pour les dissuader d’investir dans des projets qui certes offrent un rendement plus élevé, mais qui incorporent un risque également plus grand.
