Schwer zu sagen - vielleicht geht es um die Langfristbetrachtung: die Datenbank wird längerfristig zum "Erbe" für das ganze Land, sie ist nicht nur für den Augenblick von Bedeutung.

Asker: So habe ich das auch verstanden. Ich frage mich nur, ob es einen Unterschied zwischen "national" und "patrimonial" gibt

Asker: Die Langfristigkeit ist auch rückwärts gerichtet. Es geht eher darum, dass in der Datenbank auch z. B. alte Karten digitalisiert sind und man so die Entwicklung bestimmter Regionen verfolgen kann, sie dokumentiert also das Erbe
