vielleicht hat jemand eine Ahnung, was "N" bzw. "N+1" bedeuten könnte:

"En cas d'absence du signataire, l'approbation sera demandée au N+1, à l'exception du département Juridique ou la délégation de signature pourra être accordée au N.

Der Zusammenhang ist klar, nur weiß ich nicht welche Personen mit "N" gemeint sind. (Es geht darum, dass verschiedene Werbeveranstaltungen eines Pharmaunternehmens unternehmensintern genehmigt werden müssen.)
