Hallo,

ich gehe davon aus, dass mit dem genannten Begriff das Großhirn gemeint ist, bin aber nicht wirklich sicher, da ich "cerveau profond" nirgendwo gefunden habe. Kurzzeitig habe ich auf das Kleinhirn getippt, weil es tiefer liegt, doch es wird im Text später extra erwähnt (cervelet). Ist "cerveau profond" das Großhirn ohne Cortex? Daran habe ich gedacht, weil weiter unten im Text dessen Entstehung beschrieben wird. Dann bin ich noch auf den Begriff "Nachhirn" gestoßen, aber das kann wohl kaum gemeint sein.

Könnte für deinen Text passen. Der Begriff ist zwar nicht verbindlich definiert und taugt deshalb für Anatomen-Fachpublikum nicht so gut, aber darum geht es in deinem Text ja anscheinend auch nicht.
"Stammhirn" ist m.o.w. alles, was nicht Großhirn ist und beinhaltet im Gegensatz zum Hirnstamm auch das Zwischenhirn mit dem Hypothalamus, der für das bei dir zitierte Hunger- und Durstgefühl verantwortlich ist.
