Le mot de « personne », pour désigner l’être humain, ***est sur toutes les lèvres*** : il n’y a rien de plus banal que de désigner l’homme comme une personne. Mais il se pourrait qu’il en soit de ce terme comme d’une pièce de monnaie qui, à force de passer de main en main, perd de son relief, et qui devient toute lisse à force d’avoir servi. Que dit-on vraiment de l’homme quand on le désigne du nom de personne ?

Dass wir den Begriff «Person» für den Menschen verwenden, ist heute ***gang und gäbe***, und nichts scheint banaler zu sein. Doch wie eine Münze, die von Hand zu Hand wandert und dadurch allmählich das Relief verliert und immer glatter wird, könnte auch der Personenbegriff Gefahr laufen, sich allmählich abzunutzen. Was sagen wir eigentlich über den Menschen wirklich aus, wenn wir ihn als Person bezeichnen?
