il giorno della rivoluzione Explanation: Un altro suggerimento. Da quel che mi sembra di capire dagli esempi che ho trovato è un'espressione che non trova un esatto corrispondente in italiano, è un po' come se noi dicessimo "il giorno del giudizio": Tout le monde le dit : le “grand soir”, ça n’existe pas. Il était donc impossible que puisse tomber, en un seul jour de 1989, le mur qui, pendant près de trente ans, avait coupé en deux le peuple allemand. Pour la même raison, le monde entier a été stupéfié par la chute du dictateur tunisien Ben Ali : personne n’imaginait qu’une dictature qui sévissait depuis vingt trois ans puisse être vaincue, en moins d’un mois, par la volonté populaire.
