Descrizione di una camera da letto. Pensavo "settimanale", ma qui ha sei cassetti, oppure "cassettiera", ma è generico e poco dopo si descrive una cameretta per bambini con un "bloc à 2 tiroires" che pensavo appunto di tradurre con "cassettiera". Grazie in anticipo per qualsiasi suggerimento.

le chiffonnier est un meuble qui a plus ou moins la forme du settimino italien. Personnellement, je pense que tu peux oser settimino car on précise le nombre de tiroirs , il n'y a donc pas d'ambiguité sur ce point et tu gardes l'esprit du chiffonnier qui est un meuble assez haut, à tiroirs et dans lequel on range des vêtements

Settimino deve avere un cassetto al giorno. Cassettone o como' è molto più grande.

Col medesimo nome in Inghilterra vennero indicati altri due mobili: il primo, proprio dello stile Chippendale, era piuttosto basso, di struttura rettangolare, con scaffali a vista usati per l esposizione di porcellane; il secondo, diffusosi durante il Regency, era invece una sorta di bassa e lunga libreria dotata di ripiani mobili schermati talvolta da due sportelli a griglia. In francese si usa di solito "commode" per questo tipo di mobile; se hanno usato "chiffonnier" ci sarà pure stata una ragione... :)
