Buongiorno Colleghi,

sono confusa sul significato del termine in oggetto. Non capisco se ha una connotazione positiva o negativa.
Sarà che sono arrugginita perché traduco sempre dall'inglese e dal tedesco :-)

Ecco il contesto. Si tratta di un'intervista al presidente del consiglio nazionale svizzero:

"Quels sont, à vos yeux, les trois plus grands atouts de la Suisse ?
Notre tissu économique lié à un extraordinaire niveau de formation et de recherche, la diversité culturelle et la maturité politique de notre population. Je trouve extraordinaire que l’on puisse en Suisse, au travers d’une votation, prendre des décisions qui ne relèvent pas de l’intérêt personnel mais du bien collectif.

Quel est votre objectif principal comme président du Conseil national ?
Je me suis fixé comme but d’aller à la rencontre des gens au moins une fois dans chaque canton pendant mon année de mandat. En tant que Romand, je trouve important d’être présent dans toutes les régions du pays afin de promouvoir la cohésion nationale. En outre, je veux m’engager pour une activité parlementaire qui soit orientée vers la recherche de solutions en faveur du pays. Je suis fier de l’estime que porte le peuple à la classe politique. Notre système de milice nous donne un ancrage fort dans la population et nous permet de pratiquer une politique de proximité.
