Nella descrizione funzionale di una fresatrice UGV a sei assi trovo il termine riferito a un componente della macchina.
Ciò che io so è che la definizione francese di chape è: Une chape, en mécanique, est une pièce en U (élément de symétrie) destinée à recevoir un axe, pour réaliser une liaison pivot (liaison à un degré de liberté).
In altre traduzioni ho usato "attacco" e "forcella", ma in questo caso si tratta di un grande elemento a U del lato lavorazione della macchina per cui ho il contesto seguente:
- L'axe B1 est le mouvement de rotation autour de l'axe Y1. Il est représenté par le mouvement de la chape sur le coulant.
- La chape s'articule dans le coulant sur deux paliers avec roulements à rouleaux croisés.
- Le coté inférieur permet le passage des câbles et tuyauteries vers l'électrobroche et les axes A1 et W1, à travers un moyeu qui donne accès au flanc de la chape.
- Un servo moteur entraîne en rotation la roue dentée liée à la chape, par l'intermédiaire de deux étages réducteurs (ligne haute et ligne basse).
- La position est lue par un codeur rotatif absolu placé dans l'axe de la chape.
- L'axe A1 est le mouvement de rotation autour de l'axe X1.
Il est représenté par le mouvement du porte-broche sur la chape.

Questo riferimento: http://www.belotti.com/it/accessori-dedicati/bth.aspx mi dà testa di fresatura a forcella, qualcuno tra i colleghi è in grado di confermare o conosce una traduzione più appropriata relativamente all'ambito delle fresatrici UGV (ho trovato anche cappa di protezione ma non mi convince). Dal disegno dell'elemento, la collocazione del numero mi sembrerebbe indicare un componente più grande di una testa di fresatura, appunto con forma ad U. Vi ringrazio anticipatamente per qualsiasi aiuto e riferimento possiate fornirmi.
