Punerea in intarziere nu se refera numai la plati, este un termen general care se aplica oricarei obligatii a debitorului, chiar si de a nu face, ea este un act al creditorului prin care acesta solicita indeplinirea obligatiei debitorului, de orice natura ar fi ea, inclusiv sa se abtina de la a face un anumit lucru.
