Le besoin d'un horizon de justice et la nécessité d'aider concrètement le Tiers monde se rejoignent dans l'action humanitaire et trouvent leur expression dans la force de l'image.

Quand, en revanche, dans le plan suivant, vous voyez des enfants qui meurent de faim, des blessés qui agonisent, une infirmière qui donne à manger à la cuillère à un gamin décharné, un chirurgien qui opèrent… etc. vous avez à la fois une source d'angoisse et en même temps la résolution, le remède, puisqu'à cette souffrance vient s'adjoindre immédiatement un allégement de la souffrance.
