En un programa sobre Provenza, la dueña de un hotel habla sobre la remodelación de la casa que convirtió en hotel y dice:

"La maison, il y a une vingtaine d'années, était en mauvais état. Elle était habitée par des agriculteurs qui habitaient l'appart du dessus. Le reste, c'était la ***fenière***. Les dépendances étaient délabrées".

Explanation:
Fénière no es un término muy empleado. Por tanto, creo que se debería traducir por un equivalente que fuera tan poco común en castellano. Y este es uno.
