Hola,

estoy traduciendo un texto sobre hoteles y utilizan ambas palabras. De hecho, uno de los apartados es:

Accueil/Réception

La única palabra que se me ocurre para ambos términos es "recepción" en español, que es tanto el lugar físico del hotel como el hecho de recibir a los clientes y registrarlos en el hotel.

Ejemplos:
Accueil physique jusqu’à 23 (code après 23 h ou veilleur de nuit) = En este caso entiendo que hay alguien en recepción hasta esa hora y, a partir de entonces, hay que entrar mediante un código de seguridad o abriendo el vigilante.

Equipements disponibles : accès Internet en réception =aquí entiendo que se refiere al lugar físico.

A ver si alguien me puede aclarar la diferencia y proponer algún término que se utilice.

Hola Laura, l'accueil y la réception hacen referencia a la misma cosa y se traducen por "recepción" como tu mismo indicas. En los hoteles en Francia ya he oido decir "demandez à l'accueil" ou "demandez à la réception" indistintamente. Puedes traducir "Accueil physique jusqu'à 23h" por "la recepción está abierta hasta las 11 de la noche"
