Opis arheološkog nalazišta s lokaliteta crkvice sv. Pelegrine u blizini Galižane, tekst s početka 20. stoljeća:
- Koja je točno razlika između Freistütze, Pfeiler i Säule? Da li su Freistützen potpornji, kontrafori, polustupovi? A Pfeiler stupovi (ako su okrugli), odnosno stubovi (ako su četvrtastog presjeka)? A Säulen pilastri?
"Der Innenraum war in ein Presbyterium B und Raum A der Gläubigen durch den Einbau der Pergola oder Ikonostasis geteilt. Letztere ist durch den im XVII. Jh. erfolgten Einbau einer Kapelle B in die damals als Ruine stehende Kirche einschliesslich ihrer Sockel entfernt worden. Nur in dem ausserhalb dieser Kapelle liegenden schmalen Raume (zwischen B und E) der alten Kirche ist ein Stylobatrest stehen geblieben. Die am Plane von ihm aus gezogene strichlierte Linie deutet die Grenze des Langhauses und die Lage der alten Ikonostasis an. Von ihr sind im Bauschutt noch zahlreich Fragmente gesammelt worden. Als Freistützen dienten ihr Pfeiler und Säulen, die einen Architrav trugen. Zwei Pfeiler standen an der Lngsmauer des Schiffes angelehnt, während Säulen nach den Ausnehmungen für die Schrankenplatten eine den Einbau unterbrechen de Türöffnung flankierten, über die sich der Architrav als Bogen hinüberspannte."
