Die Fehlerbearbeitungsanlage wurde für die Konfigurierung der Fehlerliste der Maschine erstellt. Gewöhnlich speichert das SPS die vorkommenden Fehler auf einer zusammenhängenden Fläche, und jeder dieser Flächen gehört ein Statusbit an. Sollte ein Fehler auf dieser Fläche vorkommen, wird am Statusbit gearbeitet, was bedeutet, dass EMSY die betreffende Fläche liest und den Fehler anzeigt

Per groep is er 1 statusbit die aangeeft of een storing uit die groep is opgetreden/actief is.
Overigens is ook de formulering 'wird am Statusbit gearbeitet' erg vreemd.
