smetring Explanation: Beste Wim, volgens mijn stokoude Elsevier Printing Technology is een ,bearer Ring/cylinder bearer/Schmitzring/Zylinderlaufring' een smetring. Sorry dat het even heeft geduurd, het boek is zo oud dat hij op zolder ligt op de stapel ,voor allerlaatste noodgevallen', en ik kwam er nu pas aan toe om hem te zoeken.
