Explanation:
Hoi Judith,
Deze spatels worden o.a. gebruikt bij het bakken, maar ook door bijv. doe-het-zelvers. Ik heb vorig jaar zo'n ding gekocht bij Gamma om te gebruiken bij het behangen. Daar werd het gewoon *gebogen spatel* genoemd.
Volgens Van Dale is kröpfen *ombuigen*, of *een elleboog maken* (verstek - als in "verstek zagen")
Het lijkt mij dat hier *gebogen* wel op z'n plaats is.
