This is the first bullet point in a list of documents submitted for auditing:

• Einfacher Verwendungsnachweis vom xxx - xxx (ohne Unterschrift zur Visa-Prüfung) inklusive Anlagen,

I have found this: https://marjorie-wiki.de/wiki/Visa-Prüfung, but unfortunately this does not include what it would be called in English. For now, I've left it as "VISA auditing".

Not sure whether this has already been answered as the reference entry is German only?

I think I would avoid using "VISA" in English though as I believe it's only used in relation to immigration, etc. (I couldn't find anything to the contrary at least).

This document (link above) has a section entitled "Rechnungsprüfung/VISA-Prüfung" and the other links (below) define the process of "VISA-Prüfung" as a form of accounting checks so I would be tempted to simply use "audit" or even something like "audit of documents" (potentially in brackets after the German because these "Visaprüfungen" seem specific to Germany).

But "VISA audit" doesn't seem to be used in English in this context (e.g. https://www.sableinternational.com/uk-tier-2-visas#visa:~:te...
