German term or phrase: Frühjahrstacht
Hi,

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks for your exceptional answer. However, do English / American beekeepers, label their honey that they harvest in the spring, and cannot or will not determine the “sort/kind” of honey as “Spring Nectar Flow Honey”? Flow means liquid, and my honey is definitely not flowing. It is liquid and flowing during harvest, but hardens after stirring it a few times. I am seeking a one word equivalent of “Frühjahrstracht”-for my labels on the jars. With the term “Frühjahrstracht” I am within the law. If I want to call my Honey xyz honey, I will have to have it checked for a fee. Translating it into “Spring Nectar”-seems to be the most obvious, yet Nectar is Nectar, and Tracht-as in the whole of what nature gives is more than Nectar. Nectar is only part of the whole picture/product of the spring harvest.
