German term or phrase: Bildide
Is this a just a typo for Bildidee or does it mean something else - I have seen several instances of it on Google, though they could all be typos, of course, and they don't seem to explain much. Probably a very stupid question; forgive me if it is.

It appears in the following notes produced by an artist about his own work [date: 1925, if it matters]

[sic]

The artist is Austrian/Italian.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks, I thought so - particularly in light of the other strange spellings, but since this has been twice published in this form, I thought I'd better check, in case these were weird Austrianisms.

agree  Lars-Olof Nilsson: Must be Bildidee. There are some misspellings in the quote, like "Dentenz" for "Tendenz" and "Ihren", which must be "ihren". And there are others.

agree  hazmatgerman (X): Very probably, as I fail to make a connex between Caesar's murder and the Gestalt of this painting.
