Frau Piroska Szönye, die Künstlerin, ...wird jede Klasse, es sind deren 15, vor dem grossen Anlass vom 26. März 2010 *für eine Doppellektion Modellieren" im Unterricht besuchen.

Explanation:
It's a LEKTION, not a KOLLEKTION. You know, 2 hours of the same class back to back? Before the Guinness record event, she comes and teaches them how to sculpt with clay or similar? I suppose you could say modeling but that could be confused with the clothing/catwalk type.

Explanation:
I'd leave modelling which is shifting clay or other material) around rather than carving out of the block (of stone/wood/other) - though it can be used less precisely (finely modelled face, contours, etc.)
(If she were posing it'd be Modellstehen and they'd be working 'nach dem Modell' or similar - probably in this case not 'vom Akt').
