context [0009] "Die neigungsübertragende Achse 10 mit den Zähnen 13 und der Anlenkdorn 9 funktionieren prinzipiell wie Zahnräder. Die zwei Zähne 13 und der Anlenkdorn 9 behalten stets Kontakt, um die Neigung möglichst verlustfrei / direkt zu übertragen, um eine direkte Lenkung zu ermöglichen."

Could anybody tell me what the word "Anlenkdorn" means?

English translation:Anlenkdorn
Explanation:
I could find no translation for "Anlenkdorn", neither in the Cambridge nor the Langenscheidt German-English dictionaries. English texts use the word in German when explaining its function as an incorporated pin in the body of a steering system which is tilt controlled - as for example in a skateboard.
See the 2nd picture from the left in the images on the website below, where it is a triangular protrusion on which the axis can tilt. I hope this helps.

I guess that literal translation is not possible in this case. Referring to the original drawings, it seems that Anlenkdorn is a protrusionbut not a mandrel.
