German term or phrase: Bruttonationaleinkommen je Einwohner
Bruttonationaleinkommen = Bruttosozialprodukt. Is that the same as GDP per capita? I'm trying to compare two statistics.

agree  Nils Andersson (X): Beware. I am not sure about the German, but in English (American), GNP and GDP (Gross Domestic Product) are subtly different. The former counts interests and dividends flowing IN and subtracts those going OUT. The latter counts I and D where they occur.

Comment: GNI has been an expression and acronym ( 'concept') since at leats the 60's

Explanation:
It was part of my learning under the wings of Economic Nobel Price laureate Bertil Ohlin and it's not the same as GNP
