Bernd Runge May 22, 2016: What is Halteluft used for? To keep the motionless pick tensioned, a weak air stream is blown onto the yarn lying in the main nozzle. The air volume needed for this purpose can be individually controlled. So, counterpressure is not an option. Plus, the term should have "air" in it - and not necessarily pressure.
