I suggest your last version slightly edited of: '...prospects of any insolvency *scheme* dividends payable to current insolvency *scheme* creditors..' 1. Dividends on its or their own might be a neat way round the (US) liquidating vs. (UK) bankruptcy dichotomy, but slightly ambiguous with dividends on stocks and shares. 2. Likewise, I know from practical experience that an insolvency lawyer (barrister) is often mixed up with an insolvent or bankrupt attorney. As this is a *insolvency plan*, I advise sticking the word scheme inbetween (a) insolvency and (b) dividend or creditors.

Of course, feel free to accept any other answer....

1, in Scotland, personal bankruptcy is called sequestration

2. The pay-out in insolvency, inc. in the US & Can., is called a dividend. Black's Handbook of US Business Law: quota 1. a proportional share assigned to a person or a group, an allotment 2. a quantitative restriction.

Otherwise, quotas and quota-shares are terms used in (re-)insurance.
