I found only very few examples for "interthrusted" but among the geologists using this term there is Brian F. Windley - a really honoured expert in structural geology. It also refers to a Schuppe as "(rock) slice" and "(rock) horse" between two thrusts in imbricate structure but I presume you already know that.
