This is from a teenage fantasy novel. The main character is shouting furiously at a wolf character, which she blames for her current predicament:

"Sie hob den Kopf und rief: »Hallo!« Es war ihr gleichgültig,
ob sie damit den Wolf herbeirief – das war immer
noch besser, als Ewigkeit um Ewigkeit weiter blind
durch den Nebel zu tappen. »Haaaa-llooooo!«, schrie sie
wütend. »Komm her, du Feigling. Bardh, der Drückeberger!
**Komm und stell dich**, du räudiger Hundeschwanz!«"

Does it mean something like "come out and face me"? Thanks.

disagree  philgoddard: This doesn't sound English - as your example sentences show, it needs an object //That's interesting. I've never seen it used that way before - it's Southern, and I wonder if it's the same as "fess up".

Sehr frei. Vielleicht gehen da die Gäule mit mir durch, deshalb rechne ich mit einiger Kritik. ;-) Da der Wolf aber anscheinend irgendwo im Nebel versteckt ist, wird er aufgefordert, sich zu zeigen und dem Kampf (oder ähnlichem) zu stellen. So verstehe ich es jedenfalls.
