This nice little phrase from heidi's "Tante Emma"-Story might come in handy for your purpose: serving 25 millions of customers while still maintaining corner shop values.

we are getting to the heart of the matter. And that's a nice idea - 'The heart of the matter' the client could keep his/her image, which I assume is a kind-hearted granny...
the presentation is really about personalising marketing material (offers) to target people by email, sms, etc. they are able to reach huge amounts of prospective customers while still having the personal touch, in fact, because they have this individualised approach. it is not only about loyalty.
i think what i will do is pass some of the suggestions on to the client and they can decide if they like any of it and choose the corresponding pictures.

the suggestions so far are missing the point. IT's NOT about the corner shop per se, it's about the familiarity of mega-businesses. Tante Emma is going to have to bite the dust, because the image just doesn't cut it. But if the image is carved in stone, then something with Mother, Mum. Granny or just jump the singular image and go with family Like- 25 million customers, we're a BIG family Keep the family growing strong Loyalty is thicker than water Loyalty you learned at your mother's knee Loyalty is the mother of success (mmm not bad, that)

Have I understood correctly that the company has nothing to do with shops or running shops and is not offering a service that can be availed of in shops, i.e., the only connection to tante Emma is that the service is personal/friendly like in an old corner shop? I have never come across a Tante Emma Laden in Berlin that is run by a little old white lady! Usually either young Germans or Turks and Asians of all ages so I dont think that matters so much, the idea of the corner shop (or Mom and Pop in US) still conjures up the same images as a Tante Emma Laden and both have changed in similar ways in UK and DE.
the loyalty programme company is "we" but i don't know who they are going to presen this to. probably prospective clients they want to enrol in their loyalty scheme.

OUR .... @Aykon- okay, we need to know if this a 'mother' company giving the presentation to her 'daughters', or is it direct sales?
You say there's a picture of an old lady behind the counter of a shop. In this case, and if you have enough space, you could say something like We don't know how many people buy from this nice lady but our little shop serves 25 million customers. So your customer wouldn't have to change the picture.

Have I understood correctly? The image of the elderly lady, is a tongue-in-cheek reference to how familial this giant corporation is/poses/wants to be?
i think the images of the old lady as tante emma really don't work. corner shops here are usually run by asians, not old white ladies. no one would associate her with it. however, i'm still after a translation for the message. yorkshireman (and everyone) keep brainstorming ;-) it can be a very free translation for the title.
It doesn't MEAN it is a corner shop - it means that the friendly, personal touch and a wide range of products is similar to what you would expect in a traditional corner shop. As I indicated in my answer
i've just spoken to the client and they are taking the pictures and the whole tante emma thing out for the english presentation. unless i find a way around it, but i think, it's impossible. i have never come across a translation issue that couldn't be solved at all, but this might be one... :-)
well, my initial question does say it's about a loyalty programme and it serves 25 million customers. obviously, that's not a little corner shop then...
I'm not sure if there is any real alternative to corner shop/local shop.
"Arkwright" is the only vaguely related jokey UK reference I can think of, but it is very specific to the UK and may not convey quite the right impression.
Creating the Corner Shop Experience Online This in essence is replicating the ‘Arkwright’ corner shop model: communicating with customers personally on a mass basis to develop a relationship of mutual trust whilst building long term value. http://digitalmarketingmagazine.co.uk/customer-experience/cr...
And in a final ironic turn in the supermarket story, our online shopping addiction may see us all flocking back to shop at our local Arkwright’s. http://metro.co.uk/2013/07/08/xbox-controllers-and-19-miles-...
it's about a massive loyalty point and reward scheme and the "tante emma" thing is a bit of a joke. they just want to give the impression that they are still friendly and personal despite the scale.

Good to see you survived it! Back on topic, now...
It doesn't really matter who is behind the counter, it's the corner shop principle that matters: we are friendly, know our customers and sell almost everything!
Local and personal.
BTW: a corner shop does not have to be on a corner.
'Mom and pop' shops can save the high street - Telegraph www.telegraph.co.uk › Finance › Festival of Business The Daily Telegraph Oct 25, 2013 - Small, independent stores are becoming more fashionable than the giant retail chains, as British consumers believe 'mom and pop' shops can ... Daily Mail Jun 3, 2011 - But smaller retailers and traditional 'Mom and Pop' stores could suffer ... major retailers such as Britain's Tesco, who have swamped UK high
but I don't know whether that would work in the U.K. "our mom and pop store services 25 million customers?! I would not focus too much on the image b/c it's rather representative of a small store with an old lady serving customers. DEFINITION of 'Mom And Pop ' A colloquial term for a small, independent, family-owned business. Unlike franchises and large corporations, which have multiple operations in various locations, mom and pop shops usually have a single location that often occupies a physically small space.
corner shop doesn't make any sense in this context. there are pictures of an old lady (the tante emma). no one in the uk would associate her with a corner shop. the concept of a tante emma doesn't exist here. the title of the presentation is: "Unsere Tante Emma bedient 25 Mio. Kunden Nutzung der Customer Insights im digitalen Marketing bei XY"

Local grocer, general store are other terms that you could use for a "Tante Emma" Laden.
