Law/Patents - Law (general) / Criminal Court Brief
German term or phrase: VSS
Hello,
This abbreviation is hard for me to decipher. I'll give a few examples of it to help provide the context.
My first guess is that it refers to the Claimant's criminal complaint, but I'm just not sure.

I do not believe this means "voraussichtlich", which is sometimes the long form for the abbreviation VSS.

"Das im VSS beschriebene "Löcherstopfen" bedeutet keinen (neuen) Schaden..."

"VSS der klagenden Partei, Punkt x.y.z" (this occurs several times in the Defendant's attorney brief).

This is for Austrian German.

Any pointers are greatly appreciated.

vorliegender Schriftsatz / present document

Explanation:
Die Kontextsätze deuten auf einen Schriftsatz, ein Dokument, was warscheinlich hier als "vorliegender" eingestuft werden kann.
Leider kann ich dazu keine Bestätigung auf DE-Google finden.

SS ist eine Abkürzung für Schriftsatz, aber auch für Strafsache. Es könnte also auch (abhängig vom Kontext) als "vorliegende Strafsache" gedeutet werden
