Hi,

Einheitswert des Betriebsvermögens ... is this "assessed value of the business assets"? Or "unit value of the business assets" or ...?

"Mere" specialist dictionary translations are welcome as this is unfortunately somewhat urgent ... expertly crafted translations by those more or less in the know or having the research skills that this might take would be preferable, obviously.

Explanation:
As Einheitswert is one of those unique German "tax thingies", I'd also include the German term on first reference.

It's a uniform assessed value used as an assessment basis for tax purposes. You will find "rateable value" online as a legacy translation. But I question its meaningfulness to a native speaker. SAP, although not usually one of my recommended sources for English translations of German financial or tax terms, call it simply "tax value".

Adding this just for future reference the next time someone ponders on Einheitswert. Einheit here refers not to a "unit" but to the uniformity or "oneness" of the applicability of the Wert for the assessment of taxes. Which makes me now thing that "uniform" should probably not be in parentheses. I could also live with uniform tax value as an alternative translation.
