I am not sure what is being said here, mostly because I don't know how to translate "Gegenbestaetigungen"

neutral  Nick Somers (X): I think we're all agreed on the meaning and I'm sure that's a neater (the neatest so far) way of saying it, but where's the Bestätigung? Also "contrary" does not include "seine". In a text like this I think we need to reflect these in the translation. :-)
