Gleichzeitig hat sich die Anzahl ausgeprägter Gleitbänder sowie transkristallinen Anrisse an derartigen Gleitbändern weiter erhöht.

Die in den ausgeprägten Gleitbändern vorhandenen Mikrorisse erleichtern die Rissausbreitung an der Oberfläche.

An vielen Stellen sind dabei die bereits bei den glatten Proben beobachteten zick-zack-förmigen Risspfade entstanden, die durch das Einbinden von Korngrenzenanrissen und Rissen entlang von Gleitbändern in den Risspfad entstehen.
