German term or phrase: Sensibles Material
I am translating a product description for a program that digitizes vinyl/casettes etc. "Sensibles Material" is the title of a section that goes on to explain how easily records become damaged.

Any ideas?

Sorry, forgot, this is not a shipping company. I'd go with "delicate material" on second thought.

sensitive material

Explanation:
I don't think they mean the actual physical material but the content on those tapes etc.

Asker: That's what I thought at first too. Luckily I have enough context to be sure that they are definitely refering to the fragility of the material.

Asker: *referring :)

agree  Birgit Gläser: ...but it is not necessarily fragile like glass, a scratch or dust does not break them, and tapes' worst enemy is magnetism
