Explanation:
Looks to me like a little creativity in the original and therefore a little creativity on the translator's part. I suspect they're talking about the "financial model" or "financial apparatus" of a broadcaster.

I doubt it's a typo (or there would very likely be [even] more typos in the text).

neutral  RobinB: No other typos? What about "der Finanzierungsgeräts"? No, this really is pretty clear: there is no such thing as a "Finanzierungsgerät", and similar texts (e.g. T&Cs) available online using largely the same wording talk of e.g. "Finanzierungsweise".

  -> Um, Robin, as far as I can tell, "der Finanzierungsgeräts" is the ONLY typo. Or are there others? I'm not a DE native. And if "Finanzierungsgerät" doesn't exist, then what is it a typo of?? A typo has to be a misspelling of something, right? So, of what?
