test panel Explanation: The asker has explained in the discussion box that the person designs user interfaces. I would say "set up/recruited test panel". These would be people, presumably users, who assess whether the interface works. Reference: http://www.dict.cc/german-english/erproben.html Reference: http://www.dict.cc/?s=Kreis |

user Explanation: I would simply say user becaus in "User Centered Design Process" or as SAP puts it UX User Experience the design process aims at the "user". It is ultimately the user that uses a system and it is the user for which the user is designed so it's all about user centricity and therefore it's either the plain user or test user. If you would like some more good information on User Centered Design Process see the MOOC: Design for Non-Designers on mooc.house It explains the design process and will show that the "Erproberkreis" are actually the "users" or "end users". -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 hrs (2016-03-28 16:06:51 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- @philgoddard: or test users. Don't forget, we are talking about User Centered Design Process! And who is usually at the center of this design process? The user/users! Reference: http://mooc.house |
