AP steht sehr wahrscheinlich für A. poplitea / popliteal artery,
da es ja um Ulzera des Unterschenkels geht.

"Der Arzt wird dann versuchen, die verschiedenen Pulse zu tasten (Palpation), da sich so der Ort der Verengung eingrenzen lässt. Diese sind im betroffenen Bereich schwächer oder gar nicht mehr tastbar. Für das Bein sind dies 4 wichtige:
Leistenpuls (A. femoralis)
Puls in der Kniekehle (A. poplitea)
Puls am Fußrücken (A. dorsalis pedis)
Puls hinter dem Innenknöchel (A. tibialis posterior) ..."
